This isn't super music related, except for the fact that I'll post three ghost-related tracks at the bottom of this intriguing nugget of visual creepiness. While in NYC, the girlfriend and I hopped on the subway over to Chelsea to check out the High Line on the west side. It's a gorgeous park, really, with plant-lined walkways above the street (on an old abandoned, elevated train track in the meat packing district). We absolutely loved the leisurely stroll we took that day. I snapped lots of photographs on the old iPhone that afternoon. I also saw a ghost, and I want you to fucking acknowledge it. Check out these two photos. The first is the original photo untouched, and the second is a blown up portion of the left 40 percent of the original. What the hell is going on here.

Cropped, Zoomed Portion:
Theories that have been bounced around by my "facebook" pals:
1. The iPhone uses a rolling shutter, and it simply remained open too long. (This works as a theory, but I've yet to stumble across this type of flaw with regards to a shutter. It's usually more of a blur or stretch kind of thing).
2. Someone behind me took a flash picture at the exact same time I did, and this image is sort of a 'photo feedback' kind of thing. Like a photographic echo.
3. It is a fucking ghost.
I'm going with option 3. Who wears a bonnet from the 1920's? It was Chelsea, though, so who knows….Anybody got anything on this one? I'm all ears.

Go with the ghost!
Let’s also acknowledge the fact that the girl to the right has a building jabbing into her head. Maybe she herself is also a ghost.
love the jukebox the ghost track! I just read a cool article on their music, too: http://www.ourstage.com/blog/2011/8/5/88-mph-jukebox-the-ghost-resurrect-the-alberti-bass
