It has been a minute since we last spoke.  School started up for Kevin and me, which has thrown a monkeywrench in our blogosphere involvement.  I'm still pursuing an advanced degree and am still someone's parent.  All those things are huge time suckers.  To be perfectly honest, I've listened to this more in the last month than anything else.  (Aside: parents in the readership understand my pain on that one.  If you throw in the Tilly and the Wall ABC song and the wide array of Elmo related bullshit, it's a miracle that we all haven't driven off a cliff.  I start humming the chickens just back from the shore bit and Mrs. Citizen looks at me with murderous visions dancing across her face.  We're both essentially Lady MacBeth at this point, but with "B is for Boat, can you sing it with me?" instead of "out, out damned spot.")

I did pop my head out of the fog of children's music and literature searches to grab a physical copy of Guards EP at Music Saves.  I ordered it special from Great Britian after hearing Kevin rave about Cults's brother after NXNE.  I picked it up this weekend and it is the goods.  They only pressed 500 of these things, so I'd recommend speaking with your record dealer and/or the internet post haste.  You can order the vinyl here or download the songs here.  I cannot get "Sail it Slow" out of my head.  It's sludgy in all the right ways.

We've got some stuff on the horizon.  There are a ton of great shows in Cleveland that we'll be chiming in on and a there are a couple of records we'd like to talk you through.  You know how it goes for us in the fall; we dip out for a minute, but we come charging back hard.  We miss you internet; you were always on our minds.
